Teaching Assistantship
in Choral Conducting
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Director of Choral Studies and other choral faculty with conducting and administrative responsibilities in various choral ensembles
- Teach related courses in candidate’s field of interest as needed by the Department of Music
- Serve to the Department of Music in support of instruction, research, and public service
- Maintain full-time graduate student residency status (6 graduate credit hours per semester
- An annual stipend of at least $7,500 and a tuition waiver for up to twelve credits per semester of either in-state, out-of-state, or international tuition
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelors Degree in Music
- Regular Admission to the Graduate School
DEGREES OFFERED:
- Master of Music in Performance (majors in all instruments, voice, choral conducting, or band/wind ensemble conducting)
- Master of Music in Music Education
- Master of Humanities-Music Emphasis
