Author of The Art of Changing the Brain: Enriching Teaching by Exploring
the Biology of Learning
Combining expert knowledge of brain imaging studies
and learning theory, The Art of Changing the Brain provides an accessible
discussion of the
biology of learning. Dr. Zull founded Case Western's University Center
for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) and was its director for
ten years. Dr. Zull's
work with UCITE and experience as a biochemistry researcher led him to explore
the field of brain science and human learning. He invites teachers in higher
education or any other setting to accompany him in his exploration of what
scientists can tell us about the brain and to discover how this knowledge
can influence
the practice of teaching.
