Veterans Affairs
Wright State University is proud that it has been listed in the top 15 percent of military-friendly schools by G.I. Jobs, and is listed in G.I. Jobs Military Friendly Schools and in Military Advanced Education’s 3rd Annual Guide to Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities. Wright State’s Office of Veterans Affairs represents the interests of veterans in the campus community, providing information to veterans about services available both on and off campus. Office staff are here to assist veterans and other eligible students in determining the GI Bill and other educational benefits for which they qualify, as well as assisting eligible students in establishing Ohio residency for tuition purposes. The office is in 244 Student Union, and you may reach the office by phone at (937) 775-5550 or by email at veteransaffairs@wright.edu.
All students who are eligible to receive VA education benefits are invited to come to the Office of Veteran Affairs to begin the application process. The first time you apply for your benefits as a Wright State student, you will need to complete several forms. You should bring relevant military documentation with you. Office staff can assist you in determining your benefits, in transferring military and other institutional credits, and in learning about other student services. More information and forms are available online at http://www.wright.edu/admissions/va.
Newly admitted military-connected students will receive an email with a link for Military Online Orientation.
