Athletic Training

The athletic training program leads to a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.) degree in athletic training, with or without teaching licensure, and is designed to meet students' individual needs. The certified athletic trainer is increasingly viewed as the expert in care of the physically active. Therefore, Wright State's program prepares self-directed graduates who can function in a number of settings and work in collaboration with other health care professionals to coordinate and improve the health care of the physically active. Individuals interested in pursuing Althletic Training with teaching should contact the Office of Student Services (937) 775-3086 for additional information.
