Athletic Training
The athletic training program leads to a
Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) degree,
with or without teaching certification, and is
designed to meet students' individual needs.
The certified athletic trainer is increasingly
viewed as the expert in care of the physically active.
Therefore, Wright State's program prepares selfdirected
graduates who can function in a number of
settings and work in collaboration with other health
care professionals to coordinate and improve the
health care of the physically active.
