The Wright State University Police Department

The Wright State University Police Department, the official law enforcement agency for the university, provides police services 24 hours a day. Among the services provided are personal safety escorts; a crime prevention unit, which provides educational programs that focus on the 16 Student Life topics of crime awareness and prevention; and an investigations unit. To increase safety within the campus community, emergency phones are located throughout the campus in buildings, parking lots, and other remote areas. These phones ring directly into the Wright State University Police Department Communications Center to ensure an immediate response to all potential emergency situations.
