Liberal Arts
Social and Industrial Communication
Program Coordinator Robert E. Pruett
The dual major in social and industrial communication is offered by
the Department of Communication and the Department of Sociology and Social
and Industrial Communication. The dual major is designed for students
interested in organizational communication and who want, in addition,
an in-depth under-standing of the sociological influences that operate
in organizations.
A graduate of this program will gain insight into the organizational
world: how communication is used in the workplace, the role of the individual
in an organization, and how to cope with organizational change.
