Classroom Teacher Licensure Programs

In addition to graduate degree programs, Wright State offers structured curricula that is designed to qualify a student for teacher licensure in a specific teaching content area (see Education and Human Services section). The College of Education and Human Services also offers licensure programs for school counselors, administrative specialists, early childhood intervention specialist, gifted intervention specialis endorsement, reading endorsement, pre-kindergarten education specialist endorsement, school administrators, school nurses (in conjunction with the College of Nursing and Health), transistion to work endorsement, and career and technology education. Licensure for music education is offered through the Department of Music in the College of Liberal Arts.
