Analysis of Coronary Arteries by Spiral CT

This project utilizes 3-dimensional images of the heart obtained from a fast computed tomography scanner. The goal is to use image processing methods to quantify the amount of obstruction in coronary vessels. The image-processing algorithms developed as part of this project are then tested with a phantom containing known amounts of vessel restrictions
