Program Objectives

Provide the appropiate education to function effectively and safely as a general x-ray machine operator.
Specifically, the participants will be instructed in:
* Basic principles of x-ray operation
* Principles of radiation safety relative to operator and patient

 

Accreditation

This educational program is accredited with the Ohio Department of Health and fulfills requirements for licensure of general x-ray machine operators and for continueing education of general x-ray machine operators, radiographers, nuclear medicine technologists and radation therapy technologists.
