Radiographic knee procedures for clinical study in knee
osteoarthritis
We perform all radiographic knee
procedures for an ongoing clinical trial in knee osteoarthritis (link) for
patients recruited in the Dayton and Cincinnati area. This involves a special
radiographic procedure in which the knee is positioned under fluoroscopy before
the radiograph is taken. This special positioning technique allows the accurate quantitative evaluation of the knee joint space which is directly related to the
cartilage thickness in the knee joint.
