CAMPUS-BASED    SMP    GRFD    NATIONAL    INCENTIVES    CAMP    NURSING

As a member of the Ohio National Guard or United States Army Reserve (USAR), you can earn over $1200 per month plus full tuition assistance up to 36 months of school be participating in AROTC.  Normally the SMP membership starts at your junior year with at least 6 quarters remaining to complete your degree program.  However, each year WSU AROTC has a limited number of SMP allocations for high quality Sophomores with at least 45 quarterly credit hours.  If you think you are qualified call AROTC today! Your participation will culminate in a commission in the Army National Guard or USAR or on Active Duty. Specifically, while you are in school you could be looking at:

E-5 Drill Pay

$270 per month

MGIB Entitlement

$297 per month

MGIB "Kicker"

$350 per month

ROTC Stipend

$450 to $500 per month

Total

$1253 to $1403 per month

Plus 100% Tuition Assistance from the state of Ohio or Up to $4,500 per year if serving in the USAR
Plus you are reclassified O9R20, Officer Trainee, and become non-deployable in your ANG/USAR unit
Enlistment bonus and loan repayment balance ends upon contracting into AROTC
