WSU Incentive Awards

Wright State University provides outstanding support to its Army ROTC program through the following incentives:

Room and Board Incentives. Thirteen full room and board incentives are available each year for the most qualified cadets in the program. The award is based on the cadet’s whole person aptitude including academics, level of physical fitness, participation in AROTC, and leadership potential.  See your military science instructor for details.

One Year Tuition and Fee Incentives. Five full tuition and fees for one year. These are generally provided to incoming freshmen who have been selected for national Army ROTC scholarship Three Year Advanced Designation to start their sophomore year.

Academic Credit. WSU awards full academic credit for all Military Science courses. In addition, the College of Nursing and Health awards academic credit for participation in the Nurse Summer Training Program (NSTP) -- a three week summer internship. This clinical experience provides students with three academic credits in the NUR 415 course.
