Photo of Mount Rainier
AROTC Leadership Development and Assessment Course (LDAC) is held annually at Fort Lewis, Washington. (That's Mount Rainier pictured above.) Every AROTC cadet must attend -- generally between their third and fourth years. This is WSU grad student Cadet Eric Payton.

Fort Lewis is a beautiful place. Here are a few photos... the front gate, a regimental area and the barracks.

The pictures below are from a Platoon "STX" lane.

Cadets head out on patrol during a Platoon STX (That's Situational Training Exercise, in English!) called "Panther Lane 4". Their quarry is the big, bad OPFOR (Opposing Force, in English.) These guys were actually active duty soldiers from C/55 ADA at Fort Lewis.

Ugly, aren't they? :-)
Photo of Harmon and Padilla
Dedicated officers and NCOs from all over the country make it work. This is our very MAJ Steve Harmon and SFC Joe Padilla.
