The Wright State University Food Pantry is located in 134 Allyn Hall.

Wright State University's Friendship Food Pantry, an emergency pantry for students, is coordinated through the Office of Vice President for Student Affairs. It is made possible by the generosity of WSU students, faculty, staff, the local community, and the dedicated service of its volunteer staff.

New Fall 2014 Hours!

Mondays and Wednesdays: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (August 25th through December 15th)

Students should bring their Wright 1 Card. For questions, contact Carine Verlin, or (937) 775-2495.

The Friendship Food Pantry will be accepting the following donations during the fall 2014:

  • Canned Fruit
  • Perishable Items (Donation of perishable items only when the pantry is open):
    • Milk
    • Bread, Bagels, English Muffins
    • Cheese
    • Yogurt
    • Cream Cheese
    • Margarine/Butter
    • Fresh Fruit (washed, clean and free of dirt and insects)
    • Fresh Vegetables (washed, clean and free of dirt and insects)
  • Cold Cereal
  • Instant Hot Cereal
  • Vegetable juice
  • Fruit juice
  • Canned Soups (No Chicken Noodle or Tomato)
  • Instant Rice & Instant Potatoes
  • Whole Wheat and Regular Spaghetti
  • Pasta Sides
  • Rice Sides
  • Baby Food
  • Baby Wipes
  • Canned meat (Chicken, Ham, Tuna, Turkey)
  • Men’s & Women’s Personal Hygiene Products
  • Gravy (Jars or Packets)
  • Spices, Seasonings & Salt/Pepper
  • Condiments (Ketchup, Mustard, Relish and Mayonnaise/Salad Dressing)
  • Plastic ware
  • Can openers
  • Cooking Utensils
  • Paper Plates
  • Toilet Paper
  • Plastic sandwich bags
