III. LibQUAL

Sheila Shellabarger reported on a project the University Library will be participating in this spring. LibQUAL is a Web survey that tests a tool for measuring library users' perceptions of service quality and identifies gaps between desired, perceived, and minimum expectations of service. The survey will include 169 libraries, including 51 OhioLINK libraries and 40 academic health sciences libraries across the U.S. The goal is to gather information that will enable WSU Libraries to provide services that are more closely aligned with the user's expectations and services that better help users reach their learning and research objectives. In April, information about LibQUAL will be emailed to a randomly-selected group of 900 undergraduates, 600 grad students and all faculty. They will be given a URL and be invited to participate in the survey. The results will be published in August.

IV. CoLA Distance Learning Conference
