Hunt Brown, WSU director of sustainability, will present "Earth Day at 40: Environmental Successes and Continuing Challenges" on April 8 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Dunbar Library, fourth floor. As part of the Barnes & Noble University Bookstore Friends of the Libraries' Lecture Series, he will discuss the evolution of environmental issues since Earth Day was established in 1970, and offer suggestions about what individuals and companies can do to save energy and water, reduce waste, and more. Free and open to the public. Registration is requested by calling 775-2380 or online.
