V. Old Business
The open forum was held March 19th. The event was well attended. At the request of HR, the session was not recorded. The written responses to submitted questions have not been received yet. Written responses were to be posted on our web site in lieu of a recording of the forum.
We will conduct a raffle at the Retiree/Faculty/Staff Picnic. Linda and Susan will coordinate the raffle. Others will need to help out.
Mark Anderson and Greg worked with Chris Roberts in CTL to set up a test of a nomination ballot. There was a problem getting a staff person set up as a student in WebCT. Whether we proceed electronically or on paper, we need to determine who is in which constituency. The file provided by HR does not separate them.
The topic of two constituencies was discussed again. After discussion, it was decided John Sheidler would speak to Robert Sweeny about the matter.
4-Responsibilities of Council Members, Committee Members and Officers
Changes were suggested for the page describing what council members do.
Barb Bullock is on the committee. Robert Sweeny is the chair. They are looking for community involvement in the event. It will be October 4-6, 2007. There are currently plans for a concert and ball in addition the to inaugural event.
