Parking Accommodations
Rob Kretzer made a presentation detailing changes in parking accommodations. Notable points: The temporary "M" spaces in Lot 13 will become permanent "M" spaces; The idea of a garage is receiving consideration, financing being the major hangup.

Impact of faculty unionization
There was a discussion of possible impacts on staff of faculty unionization. No conclusions were reached, but USAC will be watching events closely.

UNCL_Staff listserv
USAC is seeking ways to encourage unclassified staff to subscribe to the UNCL_Staff listserv. We would like to send minutes and other official USAC information to this list. Instructions for subscribing can be found elsewhere on the USAC web site.

Future issues
Attendees asked USAC to look into two recurring employment/benefits issues: A proposed voluntary demotions policy; and the vacation carry-over policy

University Committee Reports

• University Technology Committee - Donna Hamilton reported on several activities of the committee, including that the University is looking into acquiring a site-license for Microsoft products.
