The purpose of the Unclassified Staff Advisory Counci (USAC) is to represent its members to the university
by: promoting their general welfare; advocating for unclassified staff through active participation in university governance structure;
reviewing, initiating and making recommendation on relevant university policies and procedures;
encouraging and facilitating communication among members; and
encouraging professional development opportunities.
One of the prime responsibilities of this council is to serve the educational
community by creating and maintaining an environment conducive to the teaching, learning, research and
service functions of higher education. The recommendations of the council
are submitted to the university president.

Staff Development Day: 'Getting to Know WSU'
Wright State University realizes the vital role its staff plays in achieving our mission of transforming the lives of our students and the communities we serve. As a way to continue that spirit of performance and to assist in lifelong learning, Wright State offers a semi-annual Staff Development Day. At this event, staff are invited to attend a keynote address and breakout sessions on a variety of relevant topics.

Classified and Unclassified Staff Open Forum

There will be a Classified and Unclassified Staff Open Forum held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, with guests Dr. Mark Polatajko, Vice President for Business and Fiscal Affairs, and Dr. Berberich, Associate Provost for Faculty and Staff Affairs. Please mark this date on your calendars and plan to attend. More details will be released closer to the open forum.
Employees will be given the opportunity to anonomously submit questions prior to the forum on April 8. Please check back for a link to the online form.
