2009/2010 WSU Committees

WSU COMMITTEES – Represent CSAC at the department/organization’s monthly meetings.  Our representative will look for opportunities to collaborate with each entity and submit a report to Council at CSAC’s monthly meetings.

Athletic Council – 2 representatives – 1 open

Parking Services & Traffic Appeals – 1 representative

Dining Service Advisory Committee – 1 representative

WSU Bookstore Committee – 1 representative

University Diversity Advocacy Council (UDAC) – 2 representative – 1open

President’s Award for Excellence – 1 representative (2 year term) Review nominations for award and make recommendations to the President.  Attend awards ceremony.  Meetings will be held in spring and will be held more frequently than monthly.

University Staff Council – Meet monthly with representatives of USAC (Unclassified Staff Advisory Council) and the Associate Provost to discuss issues and concerns of our combined constituents

CSR HB187 (Civil Service Reform House Bill 187) – Meet with principals of Human Resources Dept. to recommend and propose changes to civil service laws.

Strategic Planning – By invitation of the President, representatives are Chair & Chair Elect.  Review and make recommendations of WSU’s strategic plan in conjunction with Deans, Vice Presidents, USAC, Faculty Senate,  Associate Vice Presidents.

Regional & Staff Summits – By invitation of the President, representatives serve as facilitators and scribes.

Sustainability Task Force – 1 representative
