We strongly encourage everyone to participate in completing and returning this form to CATS (envelope provided) by March 30th – along with any comments you would like to include. DID YOU KNOW?? - Maintenance Drug Plan by: Alan McKelvey
A pharmacy benefit beyond United Health Care is available to WSU employees who get their health care through WSU. There is a maintenance drug plan available through the WSU Pharmacy and a mail order house-Express Scripts in St Louis. The benefit is the same through either place. The doctor must write the prescription as a 90 days supply. The doctor can't write for 30 tablets with 2 refills and expect the pharmacy to combine the refills. The Rx must be written for a quantity of 90 tablets. Under this plan virtually all prescription only medications are covered along with most diabetic supplies including strips for monitors. Under this plan a 3-month supply of a generic is $12.00. A 3-month supply of a brand is $22.00 unless the cost of the drug exceeds $220.00. For example Lipitor 20 mg costs us $280.00 to buy. The co-pay would be $28.00. If you have any questions about this plan through the WSU Pharmacy you can contact Jack Smith, Susan Skarzynski or Alan McKelvey at Ext 3414.
WSU COVERLET - Coverlet update - the new coverlets are still Hunter Green and Cream, but with a new face-lift. New price is $55.00. Payment: Cash, Check, Money Order, MasterCard, Visa or Departmental 1100 forms. Each coverlet will include a brochure that describes the campus buildings and items found on the coverlet. The proceeds will, once again, benefit the CSAC scholarship fund. If anyone is interested in seeing one of the coverlets, please contact Rhonda Jones at x3189 or Donna Curtin at x2724. |
