Rike Hall
The
building was designed for the
Raj Soin College of Business and houses six departments, classrooms, a
student computer lab, study areas, conference rooms, and administrative offices.
Other offices located in Rike Hall include the Center for Women's Studies and
the office of the Faculty President. Named after Dayton-area business and civic
leader David L. Rike, retired chairman of Rike's Department Store and a member
of the WSU Board
of Trustees from 1969 to 1973, Rike Hall was completed in 1981. In 1977,
Wright State awarded Rike an honorary degree in recognition of his leadership
in the business community and involvement in civic activities.
