Homecoming 2005: Howl and Prowl
Thursday, October 6
  • 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The "Wright" Connection-A Business Networking Seminar. Sponsored by WSU Alumni Association, Student Union.
Friday, October 7
  • Noon-3 p.m. Homecoming Kick-Off. Hamilton Hall Plaza and North Lawn. (Rain site: Student Union)
    Mocktails Contest, Banner Contest, introduction of King and Queen Homecoming Court, special guests President Goldenberg, men's soccer coaches and players, volleyball coaches and players, Student Government president and officers, Emerald Jazz and Cheerleaders. Also food, vendors and music by WWSU 106.9 and live bands!
    Sponsored by Student Activities, Alumni Relations and Union Activities Board.
  • 3-4 p.m. Homecoming Parade. Begins in Lot 4 (by Student Union) traveling on University Blvd. ending at Alumni Field/Lot 20. Sponsored by Student Government.
  • 5-9 p.m. Wolf Den Festival. Alumni Field/Lot 20. Carnival games, student organization booths/tables, food, LIVE radio station broadcast! Sponsored by Student Activities and Alumni Relations.
  • 5-9 p.m. Beer Garden "Ocktoberdaze" Tent. Alumni Field/Lot 20. Sponsored by Alumni Association.
  • 7 p.m. Men's Soccer Game vs. UW-MIlwaukee, Alumni Field.
  • 7 p.m. Women's Volleyball vs. Loyola of Chicago, C. J. McLin Gymnasium, Nutter Center.
  • 8 p.m. Blithe Spirit comedy theatre, Festival Playhouse, Creative Arts Center.
  • 9 p.m. Raider Club Hockey vs. University of Dayton, Nutter Center. (WSU ranked 5th in the USA)
Saturday, October 8
  • 9 a.m. "Raider Run" 5K Fun Run/Walk/Wheel, begins at Alumni Field.
  • 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Fall Brawl Football Tournament, Student Union Playfields.
  • Noon-5 p.m. Art/Science: Photography of David Goldes, Creative Arts Center
  • 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Blithe Spirit comedy theatre, Festival Playhouse, Creative Arts Center.
  • 4 p.m. Women's Volleyball vs. UIC, C. J. McLin Gymnasium, Nutter Center.
  • 4 p.m. Lefty McFadden College Hockey Tournament, Nutter Center.
  • 5 p.m. Raider Auction/Heritage Gala, WSU Athletics Setzer Pavilion.
  • 8 p.m. "The Spirit of New Orleans: Homecoming Masquerade Dance". Semi-formal, Apollo Room/Student Union.Tickets $10 per person or $15 couple available at Kick-Off, Student Union Box Office, and at the door. ALL proceeds go to the Red Cross to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina.
  • 10 p.m. Raider Club Hockey vs. University of Dayton, Nutter Center.
Sunday, October 9
