Wright State Graduate tassel and cap

Dear Graduates and Wright State Community,

Commencement is a day that our graduates and families cherish! I know that because it is a day I cherish while watching individuals beam with pride as they are handed a diploma in front of their families and friends. Sadly, the current COVID-19 pandemic prevents us from experiencing that wonderful in-person celebration. However, we will celebrate this very special day with you all, through our first-ever virtual commencement ceremony!

On Saturday, October 24, at 10 a.m. we will celebrate our Dayton Campus Spring 2020 graduates and Lake Campus Summer 2019 through Spring 2020 graduates.

Please follow the links that will be posted on our Commencement website at wright.edu/commencement. You can watch the virtual ceremony from your preferred social media platform: FacebookTwitter, or YouTube.

I encourage you to follow these accounts now so you don’t miss any of the excitement.

Many graduates have submitted photographs of themselves, and we are excited to be able to share these images as we celebrate their awesome achievements!

At the conclusion of an official 30-minute ceremony, each college will then celebrate their graduates with a special message from their dean where every graduate will be recognized by name.

I hope you will join me and the Wright State University community online for our celebration of our newest Wright State University alumni.

Best wishes,

Sue
