Eloise P. Broner
Eloise P. Broner is the president and chief executive officer (CEO) at Good Samaritan Hospital. Broner was appointed to the Wright State University Board of Trustees in 2010 to serve out the unexpired term of Judge James Cannon.
Broner has over 20 years of executive health care experience. She served as vice president of operations at Miami Valley Hospital for 17 years before becoming the chief purchasing officer with the Premier Health Partners health system corporate office.
A fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Broner received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University (Bloomington, Indiana) and her master’s degree in public health from Meharry Medical College (Nashville, Tenn.).
She is a current board member for the Montgomery County Transportation Improvement District. She is a past board member for the local Alzheimer’s Association, the Big Brother/Big Sister organization, the Salvation Army, and Montgomery County Children’s Services.
In 2009, Broner was recognized as Dayton’s Top 10 Women, Dayton’s Top 10 African American Women, and was a finalist for the Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
Broner lives in the Dayton area with her husband and two daughters.
