University Closed May 29

Wright State University will be closed Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day. There will be no classes, and the university's administrative offices and libraries will be closed.

Celebrating 50 Years

In 1967, when enrollment reached 5,704 students, the Dayton Campus of Miami University and Ohio State University ceased to exist, and the newly independent Wright State University came into being. Join us throughout 2017 as we celebrate our history and look forward to the future.

University's First Female President

Cheryl B. Schrader, Ph.D., chancellor of Missouri University of Science and Technology, was introduced to the Wright State University community March 6. Dr. Schrader will officially take office July 1.
