Celebrating 50 Years

In 1967, when enrollment reached 5,704 students, the Dayton Campus of Miami University and Ohio State University ceased to exist, and the newly independent Wright State University came into being. Join us throughout 2017 as we celebrate our history and look forward to the future.

Wright State engineering professor Maher Amer wins prestigious engineering fellowship at Saudi Arabian university

Maher Amer, a mechanical and materials engineering professor, will research the next generation of solar cells, as a Fulbright Scholar at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.
